Personality:

Midori used to be a very quiet girl, not shy or anything, just quiet. She had trouble making frineds and when in a group of people she would just talk when asked something. But that changed after she met Tsubamon. With his help she made new frinds and became more open. Now shes less quiet and will speak more. It still takes time for her to realy start talking alot. If someone has a problem, no matter if she knows that person or not, she will help. She is protective over someone who is younger then her. When alone, she draws or reads.

 

Background:

Midori was born in Croatia. Her father fled to America when the war in Croatia started and there he met his wife. She is Japanese. When the war ended they moved back to Croatia. Since then they lived on a small island with her dads grandparents. Soon Midori was born. Unfortunately they were really poor and her dad had to work on the mainland and was rarely at home. Midori was mostly at home as they had no money to pay for the kindergarten. She was with her mum all the time so she learned how to speak Japanese. She was bad with Croatian because the only people who could teach her died when she was 3 Years old. With her poor Croatian skills she was teased in elementary school. That’s why she rarely spoke and had no friends.

But that changed one summer when she met a boy, round her age. They played the whole summer. But as the summer ended he had to go back home. What she didn’t know is that he lived on the same island but on the other side. Her mum decided to buy her a phone so they could stay in touch. Midori was finally happy because she had someone to talk to. The boy came every summer. They had the same passion for drawing so they would draw the whole day. But one summer he didn’t come and he didn’t reply to messages. Then the boys’ parents finally contacted Midori and told her that he was seriously sick. She wanted to visit him but didn’t know how. She was all alone again. 2 years passed and she didn’t hear a word from him.

One cloudy summer day she was sitting on the terrace and looking at the calm sea. She had a strange feeling like someone was pulling her to stand up and go to find her friend, so she took her phone and ran off. She had no clue where she was going, she only felt that strange force pulling her. The weather was getting worst. She was walking near the sea on an old road. All of a sudden the rain started to fall like crazy. She looked for a shelter and was running as fast as she could when she slipped and fell in the sea. She felt alone and sad. As she was sinking to the bottom of the sea, she thought about all the lonely moments and all the happy moments. She wanted to be with her friend just one more time. She couldn't hold her breath anymore and was almost on the bottom. It was cold and dark. But when all the hopes were gone her phone that had already sunk to the bottom, started to shine.

The next morning she woke up in a hospital bed. Some fishermen returning home from work saw her and rescued her. Her mum was worried and hugged her as never before. Midori noticed there was something strange going on because her mum never acted that way, even when she almost drowned once when she was smaller. Her mum stopped to hug her and looked at her. You could see that she was struggling to say something. After a moment of silence she finally uttered. Her friend had died the night she ran away. His parents called but she wasn't at home.

Midori couldn't believe it. She was sitting on their favorite spot for a long time, looked at her phone that no longer worked and waited for his message. She waited for months and had strange dreams every night. One day she forgot her phone on that spot. She was looking for it all over the house but couldn't find it. She remembered that she didn't have it when she was heading home. She ran as the wind to the spot to get her phone but it wasn't there. She collapsed to the ground and started to cry. Then she heard a voice very familiar, her friends’ voice. But it was impossible, but she heard it again. She turned around and saw her phone, glowing in a pink light. A little dark purple creature was holding it and said: “Hi. I’m Tsubamon.”

Now after over a year she met new people and made new frineds. She hopes she will meet even more new friends.

Personality:

Tsubamon is a cheerful digimon, sees the light in everything. He is rarely angry or hating something. The only thing that can make him angry is when he is called a girl cos he is pink. He helps Midori to get over her sadness.

He never told that to Midori but her friend sent him to her as a farewell gift. He knew he would die and didn’t want to leave Batsuamon alone. He transferred him to her with his last strength before he died.

• Attack: Paralyzing petals

- Tsubamon can disappear or turn his body in purple smoke for a few seconds

- If Midori is happy he will have a light pink colour and if she is sad or scared he will be dark purple (that applies to all digivolutions)

 

Batsuamon (Rookie)

Attacks:

• Bud of light (grows a few buds around him that if stepped on explode)

• Pink dance (shoots razor-sharp petals out of his ears and tail)

- Can also disappear and changes colours

- His ears and tail are transparent and glow a little
